Hello,
we are the Primary School “Don Pacifico Arcangeli” fifth graders.
This year we’ll end Primary School and next year we'll start middle high school .
This is our school schedule :we start school at 8.30 after 5 hours we go back home :school ends at 1.30 pm.
Here are our school subjects : Italian ,English , Maths , Geography , History , Science , Arts , Gym ,ICT , Religion and Music.
Our school usually starts in september and finishes in june .
This year started on september 15th, and it will end on june 12th. We can't wait for it ! What about you ? Bye for now, ciao Leonardo and Nicoletta.

Hello fifth graders! It is so nice to meet you! We are 8th graders at Mountain View Middle School. Our school has grades 5-8 in it. From here we will go to high school for the next four years. We to start school in September, but we never know exactly when we will get out because we often have to cancel school during the winter because of snow storms. The school year we have had to cancel four times! Right now our last day of school is June 24th!. Our school day begins at 8:25 and ends at 3:10. We study English, Social Studies, Math, Earth Science and we get to choose from Spanish or French. We also take classes in art, music, gym, health, home economics & wood shop. In our free time we like to listen to music, watch movies, talk to our friends on the computer, ski & snowboard. What do you like to do when you are not in school? Write to us soon! hello everybody!
Sorry but there was a delay on our end! we would like to tell you about our Carneval:we had a big party. Here in Italy "Carnevale" is almoust a national holiday. There are a lot of cities that celebrate it: Venice, Viareggio (Toscany) and Cervia(Emilia Romagna).People wear funny costumes;we usually put masks on: politicians,movie stars, animals, cartoon characters, etc.. This year "Fat Tuesday" was on February 24th . We ate Carneval typical sweets/pastries : "Frappe,Castagnole or Strufoli,Ravioli". During our school party, we dance and play some tricks on our classmates!! Do you celebrate carnival? Hello,
Carnival sounds like so much fun. The country doesn't celebrate Carnival here but there is a BIG party in the city of New Orleans right before Ash Wednesday. It lasts a whole week and there are lots of parades and people who dress up just like you do. We can't wait to see your pictures! Today we are having another snow storm! It seems like spring will never arrive here. We can get snow here as late as May. Do you get lots of snow? Write back and tell us what spring is like in Orte.
